I heard an NPR podcast about how we make decisions. Part of it mentioned the idea that decision making comes from a integration of the emotional side of the brain and the rational side of the brain and without taking that emotional side in we basically fall into a endless circle of "what about this" "what about that" questions. I thought it would be interesting if some sort of AI actually existed out there but was unable to really express it's existence because it didn't have any emotional side of its "brain" to help get out of that decision loop.
