I've got my old vice presidents quiz online. I've also made a Harrison Ford movies quiz. Both of these are based on the sporcle.com quizzes. I'll soon be putting up a crazy Beatles' songs quiz.

Robert Louis Stevenson was a little crazy about his dreams. Apparently most of his story ideas came from his dreams, and his dreams will all acted out by little people dream people he referred to as "brownies". If he wanted a good dream story performed by them he would raise his arm and make a specific gesture before going to bed.

Okay, it wasn't to hard to add the map feature. I've added a map to the bottom of my timeline page.
I've got a new little project up. This one is a timeline of my life, I'd done a timeline before, but this one is nifty because it pulls the data from a Google Spreadsheet, which makes it real easy to update and also makes it more searchable. Megan thinks I'm crazy, Paul wants a timeline of his life.

I've got a fancy searchable sortable list of my obsessive Penguin Classic Books collection up here. It's really nifty because it automatically pulls the data from my Google Spreadsheet of the books I have.

I'm also trying to get a similar setup working for all my various savings and stocks and stuff. But I'm having problems getting it to work with live data.

Both of these and little projects are built off of MIT's nifty javascript from their Simile project. I also built a nifty timeline using their Timeline tool a few months ago, but I'm not sure where I put that.

Beyond the Pale

This phrase comes from somewhere in England. It had something to do with an area of Ireland or Wales that it was okay to raid in (the Pale), but if you raided beyond the Pale it was outside what was considered acceptable. Or something like that...

Bush admin's data mining interests predates 9/11. Qwest Communications denied government request for customer records prior to 9/11 according to Qwest former head now on trial for improper reporting of profits.
- also heard that there were other indications of Bush admin's data mining interests from this period, but I'm not sure what they are.

Kurd's claim that one of the three wise men in the Bible was a Kurd.
